The New Frontier Selvedge is an 8.75oz lightweight Japanese Selvedge Denim. This denim is a reproduction fabric based on 1900’s era jeans, staying true to the era the denim has not been sanforized however the jeans have been rinse washed to remove the shrinkage and guesswork when sizing. Minimal shrinkage can still be expected when laundering. The side seams will twist with wash and wear, a characteristic feature of unsanforized denim and a sign of this denim’s old world production method. The denim was woven on vintage shuttle looms in Okayama, Japan, it is lightweight and soft and requires no break in time. Cut, sewn, built in Canada with contrast stitching, all white ID, Wetbark vegan leather patch, and silver metallic buttons and rivets.
The Arrow is a slim straight fit; high rise, slim thighs, and straight from the knee to hem.
Nicely made, but fit is very small, had to go up a size and still can barely do them up. They also have a button fly rather than the advertised zipper fly.
