Gear up folks, it seems as though winter is finally behind us and spring has crashed right into us with a full weeks forecast of rain! In preparation for the damp months (weeks?) ahead, we thought you should know that we still have tons of waterproof options for you to wrap up in, sans umbrella!

Now, we’ve given you a little rundown about our waterproof parkas in the past- but what about all of our other waterproof gear?  A common question we often get is if our waterproof products are actually waterproof. Rest assured, they are (just dont go swimming in them, alrightyyy?)! Let's take a sec to revisit what Polyurethane actually is so you can get a better idea of what is protecting you out there!

Polyurethane is a synthetic resin used to coat and protect a wide range of commonly used items (such as footwear, varnishes and even furniture!), designed to keep the weather out and the comfort and heat in. In this case, our waterproof gear is coated with a matte polyurethane shell surrounding the garment. With its inner fleece lining, it aids in keeping the damp, wetness out and your body heat close.

Whether you’re a 5 or 6 panel sort of person, we offer both styles in our waterproof material. Our waterproof hoodies are just like our regular hoodies, but won’t leave you soaked while you’re walking around in the rain! We offer two styles, one in our classic Camping Hoodie style, and one in our Mountain Zip with full zipper closure.

Following in the same vein as our waterproof hoodies, We also offer a longer parka version for people that are wanting more of a full coverage coat! We love the length of this coat, and the fact that it sports deep and wide pockets makes for useful places to stash your belongings if you choose to not carry a bag. Last but not least we have our waterproof 3-Way pants.
